Community, off-grid, wholesome living, creativity, knowledge sharing, natural health. Oakenville Farm aims to mimic nature; we work within the ebb and flow of seasons and are mindful of the needs of all living and non-living things.
Oakenville Farm is a pleasant 1km stroll from the heart of Nundle Village towards the high country of Hanging Rock. The 5 acre property is slowly being transformed into a productive permaculture farm and hosts a pilates studio, an infrared sauna, bell tent glamping accommodation and herbal medicine manufacturing and house-concerts. The farm has a shop front, Oakenville Farm Store, at the entrance to Nundle's famous Woollen Mill. The shop is a community hub with a workshop space for information sessions on all things off-grid living and hosts regular swap meet markets for local produce. The shop sells herbal medicines, wild-foraged herbal teas, soaps, fresh Oakenville Farm produce, plants and re-puposed furniture and handy goodies to help you live a more off-grid lifestyle.
